Tall Douglas fir and Scots pine on the Haldon ridge, south of Exeter. The stand is part of a managed regeneration area — guests help fund the native broadleaf replanting programme along the clearing edge. Sea mist reaches the site on still mornings. Dartmoor visible on the western horizon from the deck.
